The Rolex Oyster Precision was an excellent, if comparatively basic, mainstay of the company's catalogue for much of the second half of the 20th century. Produced from the early '60s until the late '80s, the ref 6694 is a relatively rare example of a manual-wind watch in the Rolex stable, and one of just a few that weren't officially chronometer certified (don't let this put you off—the quality of the calibre is well up to Rolex standards). Sharing the look and feel of the best Rolex watches, the Precision very much participates in the incredible legacy of the brand's 20th century achievements in horology, including the iconic date window made famous by the Datejust.

Due to age, this Rolex may not fall within our typical expected tolerances for timekeeping, and is no longer suitable for use in wet environments or submersion in water. In the interests of preserving original features, utmost care has been taken to sympathetically restore this watch. It has also been referenced against technical documents and manufacturer records where available to ensure authenticity and a clean history.
